Permanent Red FGR 02 for Paints and Coatings
Pigment Red 112
Signal red pigment with very good fastness to light and weathering even in medium reductions; therefore an ideal alternative to toluidine red pigments when their fastness properties are not adequate. Provided the risk of blooming is observed it can be used, after the appropriate preliminary trials, in full shades for stoving enamels. Permanent Red FGR 02 has a darker, more transparent full shade in air-drying paints and has up to 10 % greater tinctorial strength than Permanent Red FGR. In alkyd/melamine resin stoving enamels on the other hand the coloristic differences are minimal.
